Shipping fees are determined based on the package’s weight, dimensions, and destination. As an express courier service, rates may be higher than standard shipping options. Additional fees apply for:
Expedited deliveries
Special handling for fragile or oversized items
Storage fees for unclaimed packages beyond the allowed timeframe
Customers will receive a shipping cost estimate before finalizing their order.
We provide three deliveries per week for packages. However, delays may occur due to:
Customs processing
Weather conditions or natural disasters
Incorrect shipping details provided by the customer
We will notify customers of any expected delays.
Packages valued at over 100 Jamaican Dollars will attract a customs fee, which the customer is responsible for paying. Lovelace Global Connect is not liable for customs-related delays or additional duties imposed by the authorities.
Customers will receive a tracking number via email or WhatsApp once their package arrives at the warehouse in Miami. Notifications will include:
Package arrival at our Florida warehouse
Package status updates in transit
Delivery confirmation
Upon receiving an arrival notification, customers must upload a “Pre-Alert”. All sections should be completed for a package to be processed and delivered on a timely basis. Failure to do this could result in delayed delivery or estimated costs being assigned to the package (Which could be at a greater value). Lovelace Global Connect will not be held responsible for this.
We take every precaution to ensure the safe handling of shipments. However, Lovelace Global Connect is not responsible for:
Packages lost due to incorrect customer-provided information.
Unclaimed packages beyond two weeks (which will be forfeited)
Customers must ensure that their packages do not contain banned or prohibited items, including:
Illegal substances
Hazardous materials (flammable, toxic, or explosive items)
Restricted electronics (such as lithium batteries not properly packaged)
Lovelace Global Connect is not liable for confiscated packages due to prohibited contents.
Returns and refunds are handled under the following conditions:
Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Storage fees will apply for unclaimed packages beyond two days.
To ensure smooth delivery, customers must:
Enter their unique code in the second line of their shipping address for proper processing. Example LGC0001 Air
N.B. Please check the shipping address section of your customer profile.
Customers should specify if it is “Air” or “Sea” freight when adding shipping addresses to their purchases. Example LGC001 Air
Note that sea freight is not express and is mainly used for large items e'.g. furniture etc.
Track their shipments regularly and be available for pickup on time.
Packages are delivered/picked up at the square in Clarks Town, Duncans, or Falmouth at an agreed time on delivery day. delivery outside of the designated area can be arranged and will attract an additional fee.
Customers can pay via bank transfer (information provided via WhatsApp). Cash on delivery is also an option.
